South Coast Explorer. The 350/351 buses allow you to discover the whole stretch of Coast from a single base at Saundersfoot, Tenby or Penally. From the historic town of Pembroke you can take the Coastal Cruiser (387 bus) out to stunning beaches at Angle, Freshwater West, Stackpole, Barafundle and Freshwater East. Alternatively, take the train from Tenby or Pembroke to stations at Lamphey, Manorbier and Penally - from where there are easy footpath links down to the Coast and opportunties for some great circular walks.

West Coast Explorer. From accommodation in Dale, Marloes and St Davids - from where you is also easy access onto boats to the 'bird islands' - hop on to the Puffin Shuttle (400) and explore the entire length of Pembrokeshire's stunning west coast. Other accommodation basis on the Puffin Shuttle route include Milford Haven, Little Haven, Broad Haven, Nolton Haven, Newgale and Solva.

North Coast Explorer. North of St Davids, the Coast is served by the Strumble Shuttle (404) as far as Fishguard and the Poppit Rocket (405), which runs between Fishguard and Cardigan. The buses make it possible to walk some or all of this majestic stretch of Coast from just one or two bases. Try Trefin, Croesgoch, Fishguard, Dinas, Newport, Moylgrove or Poppit Sands.

Preseli Hills. Criss-crossing the intriguing and inspiring Preseli Hills is the Preseli Green Dragon Walker's Bus. With a little planning, this Dial-A-Ride Service makes it easy to get to know this crowd-free corner of Pembrokeshire. Towns and villages around the hills include Newport, Maenclochog and Crymych.
